Acne Gel: Aczone approved by FDA and Researchers

Recently published article in Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, March 2007 has some good news for Acne sufferers. Two pivotal studies done to measure effectiveness of topical antibiotic gel against severe acne and pimples have shown that it is very safe and effective in controlling them. In study they alloted 3010 acne sufferers of more than 10 years age in two groups and one was given gel Aczone and other inactive gel. And the result is that Aczone-treated patients achieved superior results.
Aczone is one of the brand name of gel for acne which is available in market and comes with dapsone as the main content and is for topical application for local absorption with very low internal absorption.
As such we have many modes of treatment available for Acne including antibiotics, steroids, and retinoids and peroxides but this may be a good revolution and will minimize the side effects caused by majority of treatment modalities.
But Aczone have also some side effects including oiliness/peeling, dryness and abnormal redness of the skin. But still the advantage overweigh disadvantages.
really, the article is a good helpful for controlling acne. i agree that there
are various products in the market which claim to treat the acne perfectly, but
all they claim are just fake, There are so many theories for acne removal.
There are contemporary and parallel theories also for acne removal. Mainly home
remedies or herbal remedies are indicated as parallel methods of acne removal.

the problem with topica antibiotics is that bacterias will have resistance to it after a few months.
